Arbogast Sugar Pea

Pisum sativum
This the local Pennsylvania Dutch name for Landreth’s Tall Sugar Pea as described in David Landreth’s seed catalog of 1884. The precise origin of this pea is unknown but historically it was one of the most popular sugar peas in the Dutch Country. It can be used like a snow pea, a shelling pea or as a dry soup pea. 7-to-8 foot vines require trellising.   30 seeds.
