This is probably one of the best of the Victorian-era yellow tomatoes. We acquired our seed in 1984 from the late Betsy Gotshall Kulp, a produce vendor and country store keeper in . Developed in the 1870s by George M. Keasey of Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, this sweet, golden yellow tomato is now considered a Pennsylvania Dutch classic. The 3 inch diameter fruit is used to make yellow tomato-and-peach soup, peach-and-tomato pies, and peach-and-tomato preserves. It is extremely productive as a mid-season tomato and has generally exhibited a resistance to early blight. At least 25 seed per pack.
