            This ancient potherb relished for its fall and spring greens and its sweet, white carrot-like roots was the subject of Celtic and German mythology. The charming blue bell-like flowers played a role in Celtic May Day (Beltaine). The plant tolerates partial shade.  Biennial.  Often naturalizes in semi-woodsy locations.  Minimum 30 seeds. $4.00
