Without a doubt this is one of the most beautiful and succulent amaranths in our
collection. This variety originated in China although we do not know its full horticultural history.  Plants grow about 36 inches tall and are not only ornamental, but they are a rich source of healthy spinach-like greens during the hottest days of summer.
