This is an 18 th century tennisball type with a rose-bronze tinge to the outer leaves. The distinct coloration is accentuated during cool weather. Originally called Palatine in old English garden books, the lettuce was renamed Rhénania by Vilmorin in the 1920s. Extremely rare. Minimum 50 seeds. Germination 95%. Packed in 2024. Lot RW2022R LET060
