Berlin Summer Lettuce (Blonde de Berlin)
This rare butterhead lettuce dating to the 1780s forms a loose head about 10 inches across and 6 inches high with thick buttery leaves ideal for summer salads. Grown by Thomas Jefferson, it was re-introduced commercially in the US during the 1890s under the name Buttercup. Minimum 30 seeds, $4.50. Germination 94%.   LOTRW2023-LET081.
