Tagetes Lucida

Also called Mt. Pima Anis and several regional names in Spanish, this landrace native to Mexico is grown as an annual. Its small yellow flowers are delicious in salads, but it’s the leaves that have the greatest flavor. The sprawling plants are generally dwarf, about 12 to 14 inches tall and bloom all summer. Pest free, this marigold can be used as a potherb fresh or dried.  Ideal for tub culture on the terrace or even in window boxes.
