Long Green or London Improved Cucumber
Cucumis sativus
This heirloom classic dates to the 18 th century and has long been a standard for market gardeners. Medium green fruits will grow up to 10 inches long before setting seeds. This variety underwent breeding improvements in 1874 to make it yield earlier, otherwise it is little different from its ancestor. Minimum 20 seeds.  Germination 96%.
