We acquired this race ancienne pink tomato from Seeds of Change back in 1992 because it represented the quintessential tomato of Old France. The name of this round ping-pong ball shaped tomato with unique flavor, is a generic French moniker for sauce tomatoes dating to the pre-1770s. If you want to cook 1700s style tomato dishes, then this is the only documented French tomato you can call authentic. Minimum 25 seeds. Germination 96%.
