            This rare English variety is considered one of the best flavored of all favas grown today.  Indeed, the flavor has been likened to chestnuts by our late friend and food connoisseur Joseph Facciola.  The plants are robust growing up to 5 feet tall thus requiring trellising.  While the red shelling beans dry a deep burgundy color (see photo), they will retain their bright red color if steamed.  Scarce!  25 seeds $6.00 Germination 98%.
