Tomato “Maule’s Success”
Solanum lycopersicum
This variety originated in 1897 with market gardener M. M. Miesse of Lancaster, Ohio. It was introduced commercially in 1900 by the William Henry Maule seed company of Philadelphia under the name “Maule’s 1900.” It was then renamed in 1901 as “Maule’s Success.” The tomato is large, red, and has an excellent "red tomato" flavor.  Perfect for those summer tomato sandwiches and in salads.  Minimum 25 seeds. $4.50.
